BAR TAKE OVER

WHAT?

Bar takeover is our vision to execute a quest roast program in our shop in Prague. Even though we always loved to highlight other people’s great work through bringing coffee from others on our shelves, we thought it could be done better. Therefore, even though logistically more difficult, we started to ask our friends and “enemies” from other coffee businesses to come to our cafe in Prague and spend a day with us, “hijacking” our bar and celebrate our brands and visions together and essentially have some fun together.

WHY?

We want our brand to emulate the vision which we have for a long run. To have an impact across the whole coffee chain, to celebrate people and their great work from different fields in the industry but most importantly to get our customers to be on board with us. Through the bar take over program we’re aiming to promote the great work of others and give our local community a chance to hear and taste the sense of evolution and vision for the future of coffee. And selfishly enough, we love to hang out with people with great visions and taste buds Also, giving you a chance to visit lovely Prague.

HOW?

We are inviting you to come in whatever number your company can handle and spend a day with us in our cafe in Prague. We will kindly provide you with everything you need to successfully “hijack” our shop for a day…but don’t worry, we will be around the whole time. We will do a swap and your coffee will be served in our shop for a day. Giving you a chance to promote your brand and to us all to try some amazingness from somebody else. Bringing merch helps too since the local community showed a strong desire to fill up their shelves and cupboards with great memorabilia from great events. And we’ve proven in the past, we’re perfectly capable of pulling off some sensational events, getting better every time we do another.

EVENT AT THE END

Since we’re all eager to hear, learn new things and get better, we always ask our guests to dedicate their time after the whole service is over and run an event of their
choice so we finish off the day with a BANG. This can be anything and everything. Ranging from simple cupping, talk, workshop on any topic or we even talked with some of our more athletic friends to go for a run or cycle together. Make your pick so you enjoy it and will come along.

LOGISTICS

So far we proposed our guests to choose whether they would like to do “only” specific product, e.g.: filter pour overs or just espresso or whether you prefer to do full on “hijack” and take all with one swing. We did suggest that all the money from the merch will go to you after the event will be over while we would buy out the coffees for the service for your wholesale prices.

AUCTION

We love to play an active role in society, not just by serving great coffee and organizing great events. We believe that those who can, should help those who currently struggle or simply dedicate some proportion of our business to support projects to aid and improve our lives. We propose an idea to separate some of your merch, coffees, we will top it up with some of ours and after the event is done, we will run an online auction. Always choosing different projects to aid different fields in our society and all money raised will be donated to a good cause. We will be very happy if you will help us to choose from an endless list of projects so we will make sure that project chosen is in line with values we all hold strong.

So far our bar was taken by Dark Arts Coffee and LOT coffee. Thanks, we enjoyed it big time guys!
